Tracing the high-z cosmic web with Quaia: catalogs of voids and clusters in the quasar distribution (MOCK DATA)

Abstract

This repository accompanies "Tracing the high-z cosmic web with Quaia: catalogs of voids and clusters in the quasar distribution", Arsenov et al., 2025 (a link to the paper will come later). The content of the repository are the data files to a single mock realization, for the sake of testing by users. An image showing the content of the catalogs is presented below. The content will be expanded later to include output not just from the mock, but from Quaia, too. The files contained in this repository are: voids_catalog_mock0.txt: a catalog containing the properties to all of the voids, found with Revolver inside Quaia clusters_catalog_mock0.txt: analogous to above, a catalog containing the properties to all of the clusters, found with Revolver inside Quaia value-added_catalog_mock0.txt: a catalog containing the extended spatial properties from Revolver to each quasar (image in this repository shows columns of the table) The Quaia quasar catalogue and the corresponding selection function map are made publicly available by their authors (Storey-Fisher et al. 2023) https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10403370 The REVOLVER code is also available publicly, with documentation and examples to run it on synthetic or observational data sets https://github.com/seshnadathur/Revolver Acknowledgments: The Large-Scale Structure (LSS) research group at Konkoly Observatory has been supported by a Lenduelet excellence grant by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA). This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement number 101130774. Funding for this project was also available in part through the Hungarian National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH, grants OTKA NN147550 and K134213). L.S.-M was partially supported by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science under Agreement D01-326/04.12.2023. The authors thank Kate Storey-Fisher and the Quaia team for their help with the input quasar catalogue.
