This dataset supports the study “Dynamics of Longitudinal Hawaiian Hotspot Motion and the Formation of the Hawaiian-Emperor Bend.” It includes the modeling code, as well as the primary input and output files used in the research. Specifically, the dataset contains: The CitcomS code with data assimilation modules employed in the study; A modified version of the plate reconstruction model from Clennett et al. (2020); The modeled trajectories of the Hawaiian hotspot, along with hotspot paths inferred by the authors using the plate reconstruction results.
