This handbook is for students and researchers joining the cBRAIN research group from the Clinic and Polyclinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy at the LMU Munich Hospital. This manual covers each part of the research cycle, starting from formulating a research question to publishing articles, data, and code. It was written as part of the Switch-to-Open Program (SwOP) offered by the LMU Open Science Center and funded by the Volkswagen Foundation awarded to Dr. Malika Ihle and Prof. Dr. Felix Schönbrodt. This version is a first complete draft but is missing links to additional internal lab manuals and only has tentative procedures for data sharing. Infrastructure, ethics, and legal framework for this part are still being worked on.
