Effective data handling is a crucial aspect in collaborative research projects. SOTERIA being sucha project means that it will be collecting, using but also producing heterogeneous types of data throughout its life cycle. The deliverable D5.4 is the first version of SOTERIA’s data managementplan and outlines the proposed strategies regarding the supervision of SOTERIA’s data and publications. First, a summary of the various types and origins of data and the purpose of collecting them is provided. Next, the plan for the SOTERIA research data to follow the FAIR principles is described. The approach adopted to provide open access to scientific publications is described, which will allow research findings to be made freely available online to anyone, with no restrictions on use or access. Furthermore, an overview of the resources allocated to activitiesrelated to data management is included. The deliverable concludes with the approach to be followed for ensuring data security and protection is provided, covering aspects related to the storage of sensitive data and adherence to the GDPR.
