The loss of a loved one can have a deep and lasting effect on a person's emotions and mental well-being. This can manifest in a variety of emotions including sadness, anger, and confusion. Providing bereavement support is crucial in assisting individuals in navigating the grieving process, delivering both emotional assistance and a well-organized framework for recovery. Within a communal framework, bereavement assistance that is centered around group dynamics diminishes sentiments of seclusion and fosters psychological well-being by preempting conditions like as despair and anxiety. Communities that provide robust grief assistance demonstrate increased empathy and resilience, hence promoting a sense of unity. Education programs can enhance public understanding of grieving, diminishing social disapproval and motivating individuals to seek assistance. A bereavement support training program was implemented by BerCa team in collaboration with REKKAB team (30 members), resulting in a significant enhancement in theparticipants' understanding. The training underscored the importance of ongoing assistance and supervision for sorrow, emphasizing the contribution of volunteers in reducing enduring mental health hazards linked to complicated grief.*Corresponding author:yeni@stikesbethesda.ac.id
