Abstract

Registramos el avistamiento de cinco individuos adultos de Ara macao (Linnaeus, 1758) en un parche de bosque latifoliado dentro de una finca cafetalera en La Libertad, Trojes, El Paraíso, Honduras. Este registro evidencia el uso de hábitats intervenidos por la especie y amplía su distribución conocida en el oriente hondureño, destacando la relevancia de paisajes agroforestales como posibles sitios de refugio, alimentación y anidación
