
This dataset contains the meteorological and yield data used in the study titled: **"Complex relationship between crop yields and crop growing period: The shortened growing period before flowering contributes to yield increase in common buckwheat" (DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0322463).** It includes:- Daily meteorological records (temperature, precipitation, etc.)- Buckwheat yield data from 1993 to 2020 in Japan- Programs for analysing the data Due to file size, the dataset is provided as compressed files. This data supports the manuscript submitted to PLOS ONE.
