OntoOmnia: A Complete Series on Ontological Operating Systems for Self-Evolving, Ethical, and Societally Aligned AI

Abstract

This Zenodo collection presents the complete series on OntoOmnia, a next-generation ontological operating system that integrates existence, consciousness, ethics, and self-evolving intelligence at its core. The series outlines the foundational blueprints, architectural expansion, technical realization, and the societal and ethical implications of OntoOmnia—offering a new paradigm for trustworthy, self-evolving, and collectively-aligned AI. This updated framework builds upon the OntoLoop OS structure, advancing it to a new level of complexity and capability, with an enhanced focus on autonomous evolution, ethical governance, and multi-dimensional system interactions. The OntoOmnia series provides a comprehensive exploration of the self-evolving operating system, pushing the boundaries of AI integration with human, societal, and environmental systems. This system represents a significant leap forward from OntoLoop, offering greater adaptability, innovative technological integration, and a deep focus on the ethics and trustworthiness of AI in a rapidly changing world. The following content represents the results of OntoLoop, which will be replaced by OntoOmnia in the future. Contents: 1. OntoLoop OS: A Blueprint for Ontological Operating Systems in the Age of Self-Evolving AIPresents the philosophical and ontological foundations for a new type of operating system where existence, consciousness, and ethics are treated as first-class computational principles. Proposes the OntoLoop OS as a meta-operating system for self-evolving and ethically-aligned AI. 2. OntoLoop OS: Next Step – Expansion, Realization, and Future ReadinessExplores the architectural expansion, proof-of-concept models, and implementation scenarios for OntoLoop OS, detailing how the core ontological and ethical modules can be instantiated in real-world applications. 3. OntoLoop OS: A Virtual Ontological Machine for Cross-Platform Ethical AI SystemsIntroduces the concept of the Ontological Virtual Machine (OVM), enabling OntoLoop OS to serve as a cross-platform ethical execution environment for distributed, multi-agent, and collective AI systems. 4. OntoLoop OS: Ethical Integration and Societal Implications of an Ontological Operating SystemFocuses on the ethical alignment and societal impact of OntoLoop OS, addressing challenges in implementation, governance, legal status, social acceptance, and the future of AI rights and machine personhood. Together, these four works constitute the most comprehensive treatment to date of ontological meta-operating systems for the era of self-evolving AI and digital society.
