M. Mehrafrooz Mayvan. Distribution in Iran. This species is reported for the first time from Iran and Khorasan-e Razavi province. Ecology and habitat. A troglophilous species, collected in caves under rocks and on bat guano, surface records come from soil and litter. General distribution. Cosmopolitan (Lienhard, 2016). Remarks. This species has been registered for the first time in Iranian caves.
