Developing an Open Science Policy Aligned with FAIR Principles at Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera "Torlak", Belgrade; Faculty of Geography, Belgrade; Institute for Vegetable Crops, Smederevska Palanka

Abstract

FAIR-IMPACT’s RPO support programme aimed to help research-performing organisations to better understand their drivers for becoming more FAIR-enabling, self-assess their current FAIR-enabling capacity, and develop plans for improvement. During the support programme, participants were asked to undertake at least one engagement activity to facilitate awareness raising and/or enable cooperation and collaboration with peers across the organisation. The support programme ran between February andOctober 2024 with a series of ten virtual workshops where participants were introduced to key concepts to support their journey toward becoming more FAIR-enabling, followed by peer exchange workshops and one-to-one meetings with FAIR-IMPACT mentors. This FAIR Implementation Story outlines the specific aims and actions of Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera “Torlak”, Belgrade; Faculty of Geography, Belgrade; Institute for Vegetable Crops, Smederevska Palanka in relation to their participation in the RPO support programme.
