
Description: This training material provides an overview of the ACCORD semantics framework. The framework is the ACCORD project proposal for what an automated digitalized building permit should look like. It can be the basis for a new generation of semantically aware digital building permits and automated compliance checking. This training material targets companies and organizations working on the development of digital tools for building permitting or automated compliance checking, and public authorities seeking to implement digital building permits. Learning objectives: - Understanding of the ACCORD framework and the interrelationship to its components such as regulatory documents, ACCORD rule formalization process, data dictionary, cloud permitting services, model and data validation services, process execution engine, data storage system, micro-services bridge the cloud services and a set of compliance checking services. - Awareness of ACCORD methodology for the development of the framework including the landscape review of automated digital building permits and the survey results on how to achieve the adoption of automated digital building permits.
