The Research Infrastructure of the Institute of Contemporary History (coordinating entity of DARIAH-SI) has long offered practical training in areas such as DH and library and information science. In 2024, a new initiative was launched in cooperation with the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, which aimed at providing a structured training programme for students. The result was a comprehensive course focussing on 19th century research, combining in-depth lectures with practical training to enhance students' historical research skills, in particular with digital methods.
