Abstract

“Neko y el corazón de la selva” es un poema narrativo y educativo que introduce a los niños y niñas (7–13 años) al mundo de la selva amazónica a través de la poesía, la interculturalidad y la emoción. El material incluye una introducción docente, propuesta didáctica y glosario ilustrado con elementos culturales auténticos como el achiote, la guayusa o la maloca.Recurso ideal para proyectos interdisciplinarios, lectura guiada y actividades artísticas en el aula. Neko and the Heart of the Rainforest is an educational narrative poem designed for children aged 7–13. It introduces the Amazon rainforest, through poetry, intercultural learning, and emotional reflection. The material includes a teacher introduction, didactic activities, and an illustrated glossary featuring authentic cultural elements such as achiote, guayusa, and maloca.Perfect for interdisciplinary learning, classroom literature, and creative reading workshops.
