El perfil psicológico y social del hombre sexista: implicaciones para la violencia de pareja

Abstract

Desde el perfil psicológico y social del hombre sexista, la violencia de pareja, es una manera de poder y control que se ejerce sobre una mujer dentro de una relación íntima. El artículo examina, desde un enfoque teórico, la conceptualización del sexismo, el perfil psicológico y social del hombre sexista y la violencia de pareja, formulando tácticas adecuadas para la solución del conflicto. Se utiliza la selección cualitativa, respaldado por el método de investigación documental. Entre los resultados más relevantes resaltan: 1. El abordaje del sexismo. 2. Los diferentes perfiles psicológicos y sociales del hombre sexista. 3. Los temas que abordan la implicancia de la violencia de pareja. Se concluye que el sexismo perpetúa la violencia de género y la inequidad en los vínculos de pareja, normalizando el abuso. Refuerza roles de dominancia y sumisión, dificultando su reconocimiento. Para erradicarlo, es esencial intervenir desde la infancia y promover masculinidades respetuosas.
