Exploring Characteristics, Challenges, and Opportunities in 6G Software Business: A Multivocal Literature Review

Abstract

This dataset is associated with the paper titled "Exploring Characteristics, Challenges, and Opportunities in 6G Software Business: A Multivocal Literature Review " It is stored in a Microsoft Excel file that consists of several worksheets. Below is a simplified description of each worksheet. (1) The 'All Papers' worksheet lists the studies identified in the initial search phase across various databases. (ACM,IEEE,Scopus,Springer Link, Science Direct, Wiley Online Library and Web of Science) (2) The 'Title Base Filter' worksheet list the studies that remained after the title and keyword screening. (3) The 'AbstractBaseOutput' worksheet contains the studies that passed the abstract-based screening phase. (4) The 'AbstractBaseFinal' worksheet lists the final selection of studies that have been selected full-text screening process . (5) The 'FinalSelectedFormalLitPapers' worksheet list the selected studies that we selected after the primary and secondry search. (6) The 'FinalSelectedGreyLiterature' worksheet list the selected studies that we selected after the primary and secondry search. (7) The 'Summary' worksheet provide an overview of selected studies type (Article,Chapter,Conference,Magzine, workshop, GreyLiterature). (8) The 'FormalLiterature_QualityScore' worksheet list the selected studies along with their quality assessment scores (i.e., 0, 0.5, 1). (9) The 'GreyLiterature_QualityScore' worksheet list the selected studies along with their quality assessment scores (i.e., 0, 0.5, 1). (10) The 'GeographicalAnalysis' worksheet provides demographic information about the studies, such as source type' affiliations_country, Research Type, and Category. (11) The 'ResearchPaperTypeDistribution' worksheet provides research paper type distibution( Opinion , Philosophical, Proposal of solution, Proposal of soultion and validation research and Validation research) base on Formal Literature and Grey Literature according to thier categories Business and technical for each. (12) The 'RegionWiseDistribution' worksheet provides region wise distibution( Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Austial) base on Formal Literature and Grey Literature according to thier categories Business and technical for each. (13) The 'Characteristicscoding' worksheet compiles initial codes information extracted from the selected studies, focusing on data relevant to the Charactersitics of 6G Software Businesses. (14) The 'CharacteristicsThemes' worksheet contains the information of themes related subcategories and its relevents initial codes with description of the selected studies to the charactersitics of 6G Software Businesses. (15) The 'CharacteristicsThemesMappingSID' worksheet contains the information of themes related subcategories maping soucrce ID of the selected studies to the charactersitics of 6G Software Businesses. (16) The 'Challengescoding' worksheet compiles initial codes information extracted from the selected studies, focusing on data relevant to the challenges of 6G Software Businesses. (17) The 'ChallengesThemes' worksheet contains the information of themes related subcategories and its relevents initial codes with description of the selected studies to the challenges of 6G Software Businesses. (18) The 'ChallengesThemesMappingSID' worksheet contains the information of themes related subcategories maping soucrce ID of the selected studies to the challenges of 6G Software Businesses. (19) The 'Opportunitiescoding' worksheet compiles initial codes information extracted from the selected studies, focusing on data relevant to the opportunities of 6G Software Businesses. (20) The 'OpportunitiesThemes' worksheet contains the information of themes related subcategories and its relevents initial codes with description of the selected studies to the opportunities of 6G Software Businesses. (21) The 'OpportunitiesThemesMappingSID' worksheet contains the information of themes related subcategories maping soucrce ID of the selected studies to the opportunities of 6G Software Businesses. (22) The 'FinalTaxonomy worksheet lists identfied Characteristics and its related opportunities and their challenges for each opportunity.
