Understanding the Earth System in its full complexity requires more than just single-discipline observations — it demands integrated, multi-disciplinary data analysis. Whether examining the dynamics of marine plankton blooms, tracking the oceanic and terrestrial uptake of atmospheric CO₂, or tracing the fate of pollutants across the air, sea, and soil, modern environmental challenges call for unified approaches to data access and interpretation. As part of the FAIR-EASE project, webODV is revolutionising how researchers interact with complex data. Developed by the Alfred Wegener Institute, webODV brings three decades of ODV expertise into a fully online environment, removing the need for software installations while preserving powerful analytical capabilities.
