D2.4 - Summary of the results of disseminaton actvites

Abstract

This deliverable provides a comprehensive overview of the disseminaton actvites undertaken to promote the MareGraph project and communicate its results up to month 30 (June 2025). The report presents a detailed list of events and actvites where project outcomes have been shared with relevant audiences and stakeholders. Throughout the projects executon͕ dozens of disseminaton events and actvites have been successfully conducted across various contexts and venues͘ These eforts have involved the actve partcipaton of all project partners ensuring broad representaton and expertse in communicatng the projects value and achievements to diverse audiences. The disseminaton strategy has been deliberately diversifed to maximize reach and impact across diferent target groups and stakeholders͘ Actvites have ranged from online webinars that facilitate global partcipaton to in person workshops that enable direct engagement and hands-on collaboraton. This mult-modal approach has proven efectve in accommodatng varying preferences and constraints of diferent stakeholder communites. In additon to event based disseminaton͕ the project has established a robust digital presence to ensure sustained visibility and accessibility of its outputs͘ This includes the development of a dedicated project website and actve engagement through social media platorms in partcular LinkedIn, but also the creaton of multple GitHub repositories for open-source and transparent collaboraton the establishment of an online community on Zenodo for sharing public deliverables and liaisons with related projects and initatves. An additonal component of the project͛s disseminaton strategy is the MareGraph data catalog͕ which serves as a comprehensive repository for all linked open datasets produced by the project͘ This catalog semantcally described using the DCAT-AP specifcaton and publicly accessible enhances the discoverability and accessibility of project outputs while ensuring compliance with European standards for dataset documentaton. Looking ahead͕ the full release of the integrated Knowledge Graph incorporatng data from the World Register of Marine Species, WoRMS, MarineRegions͕ and the European Node of the Ocean Biodiversity Informaton System. EurOBISͿ is scheduled for the end of the project͘ This major result will serve as the foundaton for contnued disseminaton eforts͕ partcularly in scientfc venues where the maturity and solidity of research results are essental requirements for acceptance and adopton by the research community.
