ClimExt-Brazil provides high-resolution, gridded monthly data for TXX. TNX, Rx5day, and Prctot climate extreme indices (defined by the Expert Team on Climate Change Detection and Indices, ETCCDI) across Brazil. This dataset enables robust analysis of temperature and precipitation extremes (e.g., heatwaves, heavy rainfall, droughts) from 1960 to 2024 at a spatial resolution of 0.1º (approx. 10 km). Methodology Data were derived from using Brazilian Daily Weather Gridded Data (BR-DWGD). Indices were calculated following ETCCDI protocols. Potential Applications Climate change impact studies Extreme event attribution Agricultural risk assessment Hydrological modeling Public policy development
