Abstract

Lynx rufus von Schreber, 1777 Bobcat Lynx rufus can be found throughout Louisiana where suitable habitat exists. Since Lowery (1974), nonvouchered records were reported from Bossier, Caddo, Cameron, Iberia, Jefferson Davis, Lafourche, Richland, St. Tammany, Terrebonne, Vernon, Webster, and Winn parishes.
