
Peromyscus gossypinus (Le Conte, 1853) Cotton Deermouse Peromyscus gossypinus was reported from six counties in southeastern Oklahoma by Caire et al. (1989). The record from Osage County (Payne and Caire 1992) extended the range to the north and west. A new county record is reported for Cherokee County.
