Abstract

Human resources are the pillar of any business's success. Human resources include employees of the business and their skills. A strong team of employees is very crucial for achieving business goals. Employees are an essential component of any organization since they are the engine of corporate success, directly impacting revenue, productivity, customer happiness, and creativity. An organization can achieve its goals and progress when its employees work well. The role of employees in an organization is like a pillar of the building on which the whole structure of the building stands. It means the success of an organization depends on its employees. Any stress may reduce an employee's overall performance. Stress puts pressure on the body and mind. It can lead to headaches, sleeping problems, anxiety, and depression. Moreover, workplace stress significantly impacts employee performance. So, looking after employees' physical and mental health is important. Organizations worldwide are becoming more concerned about the mental health of the workers or employees and making efforts to reduce workplace stress since it impacts both productivity and employee efficiency. This paper studies the relationship between workplace stress, employee productivity, and well-being, highlighting the causes of workplace stress, its consequences, and the impact of workplace stress on organizational growth, presenting the potential solution, and suggesting strategies for the organization to reduce workplace stress.
