In Algerian universities, students in scientific fields follow their courses in French and must therefore master a specialized French, particularly for writing academic documents such as reports, internship reports, and summaries. At the University of Chlef, first-year Master's students specializing in Nutrition Biology, enrolled at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, face difficulties in writing these types of documents, which motivates this study. The objective is to identify the nature of these difficulties through a descriptive approach, by analyzing student papers using an evaluation grid. A questionnaire and an interview with a teacher complement this analysis. This work aims to better understand the students' writing needs and propose appropriate solutions.
