
Der Beitrag thematisiert den Entwicklungsprozess von Lehrpersonen, der nach Abschluss der Qualifikation weitergeht und aus der Auseinandersetzung mit den sich wandelnden beruflichen Anforderungen hervorgeht. Thematisiert werden Merkmale des Berufs sowie die zentralen Begriffe Profession, Professionalisierung und Professionalität. Professionalisierung wird über verschiedene theoretische Zugänge dargelegt, gefolgt von Befunden aus berufsbiografischen Studien sowie zum Berufseinstieg als spezifische Phase. Der Beitrag schliesst mit Ausführungen zum Umgang mit Anforderungen und Ressourcen. English version The article addresses the need of further development of teachers after the final qualification. Due to changing requirements teachers are challenged to process in their professional development. Characteristics of the profession as well as the central terms profession, professionalization and professionalism are discussed. Professionalization is presented via various theoretical approaches, followed by findings from career studies and career entry as a specific phase. The article concludes with explanations on how to deal with requirements and resources.
