Abstract

Die Dokumentation beschreibt ein Praktikumsprojekt im Masterstudiengang Digital Humanities an der TU Dresden in Zusammenarbeit mit der Sächsische Landesbibliothek - Staats- und Universitätbibliothek Dresden. Im Zentrum standen die Analyse und Transformation der TEI-Auszeichnung der Digitalen Edition der Korrespondenz August Wilhelm Schlegels. Auf Basis einer strukturierten Evaluation des Ausgangszustands wurden fehlerhafte Auszeichnungen systematisch identifiziert und transformiert. Mittels XQuery-, XPath- und Python-Skripten sowie punktueller Nutzung von Large Language Models wurden Daten bereinigt, semantisch angereichert und standardisiert. Eine exemplarische Maximalauszeichnung demonstriert mögliche editorische Erweiterungen. Die Befunde bieten eine Grundlage für die Weiterentwicklung der bisherigen TEI-Auszeichnung.
