
This systematic review explores the pharmacological and psychological effects of bioactive compound blends in self-care practices, using Kauniyah Oil as a case study. Kauniyah Oil is a traditional herbal formulation composed of essential oils derived from natural ingredients such as cajuput, fennel, and coconut oil. The review synthesizes recent research on the physiological impact of its core compounds, including analgesic, antimicrobial, anxiolytic, and skin-soothing effects. Emphasis is placed on the relevance of such blends in holistic self-care. This work aims to bridge scientific evidence with traditional knowledge, highlighting the multifaceted benefits of botanical-based therapeutic strategies.
