Data on the spatial distribution of transport emissions for CAMS-REG v8.1. Data is available in vector format (em_vkm_vector_dataset.gpkg) and gridded raster format (gridded/ directory) of 0.05° x 0.1° degrees resolution. The vector dataset includes all information necessary to derive a gridded spatial distribution for different resolutions and extents. Fields include traffic volume, road class, road length, country code, urban/rural/highway category, and total emissions per vehicle type as well as total vkm per vehicle type. Information on each field of the vector file are given in a Readme file (Readme.txt). The raster datasets are Netcdf files, which contain absolute emissions (kg NOX/y) as well as fractions (% NOx emissions of country) for all countries as Netcdf variables. To facilitate comparisons with city inventories, urban boundaries are provided in a .gpkg file (cities_polygons.gpkg).

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
