SKRINING FITOKIMIA EKSTRAK (AVERRHOA BLIMBI L.) DAUN DAN BUAH TANAMAN BELIMBING WULUH

Abstract

Averrhoa blimbi L. is a plant contain phytochemical compounds that play a role in pharmacological activity. Averrhoa blimbi L. in Gelumbang District, Muara Enim, South Sumatra is used for traditional medicine such as fever, goiter, anti-inflammatory, and antidiabetic. This study aims to determine the content of secondary metabolite compounds in the leaves and fruit of the Averrhoa blimbi L The leaf and fruit extracts of the Averrhoa blimbi L. were obtained from the extraction process using the maceration method with 96% ethanol solvent. The results of the phytochemical screening test on the Averrhoa blimbi L. leaf extract were positive contains alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and steroids, and the Averrhoa blimbi L. fruit extract was positive contains alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and triphenoids.
