Natural resources existence and sustainability is climate change dependent as changes in climatic conditions results in natural resources existence, shift, modification or exit from a given location on earth. Every town or countries development and sustenance is dependent on natural resources, mining and processing into usable products. Climate changes will continue to occur resulting in environmental changes because of human activities on the land and its fight for existence, sustenance, progress and success on planet earth. This research work sorts to investigate climate changes in Nsutem in the Eastern Region of Ghana, its effects on natural resources and its sustainability for national development. Research findings indicates that gold mining activities is destroying farmlands, forest reserves, lands and water resources which will result in changes in the climate in the future. Destruction of forests reserves and farmlands due to illegal gold mining will lead to changes in rainfall regimes over the region as evapotranspiration will reduce drastically in the future.
