This report presents preliminary findings from the 2024 fieldwork carried out by the ToBe Ecuador team as part of Work Package 3. It explores sustainable wellbeing in Indigenous and rural communities across two key regions of Ecuador: Imbabura (Andean highlands) and Napo (Amazonian lowlands). The study analyzes local understandings of wellbeing, sustainability, and technology, and reflects on the structural barriers and drivers shaping community-based initiatives in these territories.
