
Il report descrive la progettazione e la realizzazione tramite stampa 3D di supporti innovativi per target di rilievo 3D nel campo del patrimonio culturale. L'indagine nasce dalla necessità di affrontare criticità operative comuni durante l'acquisizione dati, come perdita di tracciamento, occlusioni dei target e distorsioni prospettiche. Attraverso tecniche di modellazione parametrica e l'impiego della tecnologia Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) con Nylon 12, sono stati sviluppati prototipi caratterizzati da geometrie semplici e modulari, ottimizzati per visibilità, stabilità meccanica e adattabilità a diversi contesti operativi.
The report describes the design and fabrication, through 3D printing, of innovative supports for 3D survey targets within the field of cultural heritage. This research addresses common operational challenges encountered during data acquisition, such as tracking loss, target occlusions, and perspective distortions. Using parametric modeling techniques and Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technology with Nylon 12, prototypes featuring simple and modular geometries were developed, optimized for visibility, mechanical stability, and adaptability to various operational contexts.
