This handout, created for DHBenelux 2025, describes the problems researchers and data providers experience due to the lack of published contextual information for datasets. It proposes data-envelopes as a solution, as data-envelopes describe complex contexts of datasets. The handout includes both a link to further information about data-envelopes and a simplified template for a data-envelope.
