Abstract

ABSTRAK Pertanian merupakan sektor strategis yang mendukung ketahanan pangan, terutama di negara agraris seperti Indonesia. Namun, petani skala kecil sering menghadapi tantangan dalam produktivitas akibat keterbatasan teknologi. Dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas pertanian, Smart Farming berbasis Cloud IoT menjadi solusi inovatif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan melatih civitas SMA IT Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung dalam pemanfaatan teknologi Smart Farming berbasis IoT. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan, simulasi, dan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap teknologi IoT dan aplikasinya dalam pertanian. Evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 5%. Implementasi ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan minat generasi muda terhadap pertanian berbasis teknologi dan meningkatkan efisiensi pertanian sekolah. KATA KUNCI: Smart Farming, IoT, Cloud Computing, Pendidikan Teknologi, SMA IT Al Kautsar ABSTRACT Agriculture is a strategic sector that supports food security, especially in an agrarian country like Indonesia. However, small-scale farmers often face challenges in productivity due to technological limitations. In an effort to improve agricultural efficiency and productivity, Cloud IoT-based Smart Farming is an innovative solution. This community service activity aims to introduce and train the Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung IT High School community in the utilization of IoT-based Smart Farming technology. The methods used include training, simulation, and hands-on practice. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of IoT technology and its application in agriculture. Evaluation of pre-test and post-test showed an increase in understanding by 5%. This implementation is expected to foster the younger generation's interest in technology-based agriculture and increase the efficiency of school farming.
