Datasets and code associated with "Modelling the ocean melt of ice mélange at Greenland's marine-terminating glaciers". This archive contains: code.zip: the code directory needed to recreate the numerical simulations input_ms_q300_t0.zip: the input directory needed to create the ms_q300_t0 simulation melange_profiles.zip: all of the mélange profiles used in the simulations: the three mélange profiles for lambda = 0.6 (thin, standard, thick) the four standard mélange profiles at different values of lambda (lambda = 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5) the script used to generate the mélange profiles output_ms_q300_t0.zip: the output of the final timestep of the ms_q300_t0 simulation temperature_profiles.zip: the temperature profiles used in the simulations To create the numerical simulations within MITgcm, only the "code" and "input" directories are needed. The desired temperature profile, subglacial discharge flux and mélange profile can be selected in the "gendata.m" script within the input directory. Running this gendata.m script then generates the input binary files needed to run the simulation.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
