Статья посвящена исследованию способов функционирования языковых единицв современном французском спортивном дискурсе с точки зрения созданияпрагматического эффекта. Описываются основные спортивные жанры, выявляютсятропы и фигуры речи. The article analyses the ways of functioning of linguistic units in modern French sportsdiscourse with regard to creating a pragmatic effect. The main sports genres are described,tropes and figures of speech are revealed.
