Abstract

The implementation of this Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM) is part of the students' concern to participate in efforts to improve the health of residents through free examinations and treatment as well as education on the use of medicines, especially cholesterol, uric acid, and blood sugar drugs, KKM partners are local adults and elderly residents in Sasagaran Village. The KKM implementation method applies an observation approach, socialization, stages of activity implementation and evaluation. Implementation of KKM activities The activity begins with the provision of socialization and education which begins with an announcement by local cadres, interactive lectures, followed by free examinations and treatment. The output of the activity, health checks can provide information about normal blood glucose levels of elderly residents and the potential risk of diabetes, as well as increase awareness of signs of diabetes.

Pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM) ini sebagai bagian dari perhatian mahasiswa untuk turut serta berpartisipasi dalam upaya meningkatkan kesehatan warga melalui pemeriksaan dan pengobatan gratis serta edukasi penggunaan obat terutama obat kolestrol, asam urat, dan gula darah, mitra KKM adalah masyarakat setempat berusia dewasa dan lanjut usia di Desa Sasagaran.
