D5.3 – Technical, IPR and Innovation Management

Abstract

This document, Deliverable 5.3-Technical, IPR and Innovation Management, details how the Consortium will accomplish the goals set out in Task 5.2: Technical and Innovation Management: Carry out technical and experimentation coordination to make sure that technological developments in the product experimentation carried out in E2C are in line with changing market demands Establish an External Advisory Board of Experts Ensure that researchers and innovators maintain ownership of their innovations Monitor the high innovation potential of research results and their greater impact D5.3 - Technical, IPR and Innovation Management lays down the framework and methodology for monitoring technological and innovative progress and ensuring the IPR of External Solutions developed within the context of EVOLVE2CARE. The report provides an overview of the structure to be employed for managing these solutions, assessing relevant business models and market factors, identifying possible risks, and applying mitigation measures throughout the project’s two-year duration. As this first version of the deliverable is prepared very early in the project’s lifetime (M4) there is little to report in terms of results so far. However, it will illustrate the process and serve as a roadmap to guide and manage the upcoming development of external innovative solutions produced in the scope of EVOLVE2CARE. The framework and tools that will be used for understanding technological and innovation progress are defined in this first version of the document, along with the strategy for ensuring the smooth progression of the project towards the achievement of its envisioned innovation outcomes. A final version (due in September 2026, M24) will demonstrate how this framework was employed to successfully manage and advance the project’s innovations.
