INR18650-LG-3500-MJ1 Cathode GITT Parameterization Review

Abstract

Scope This record contains results from applying EP-BOLFI to a GITT (without intermittent EIS) measurement on the harvested anode of the INR18650-MJ1 Li-ion battery cell from LG CHEM. Metadata Filename Description Format Usage lg_mj1_parameterize_positive_diffusivity_{de}lithiation_[({n},{n}+2)]_{model}()_optimization.log Direct command line log of the EP-BOLFI optimization routine of data segments {n} and {n+1} and of {model} from SPM, SPMe, or DFN, for positive electrode diffusivity in (de-)lithiation direction. PDF (text/plain) Check of the performance and efficiency with the given optimizer settings, and possibly retrieval of intermediate results. lg_mj1_parameterize_positive_diffusivity_{de}lithiation_[({n},{n}+2)]_{model}()evaluations.json Structured dump of all parameter sets EP-BOLFI tried out and the feature values the SPM, SPMe, or DFN {model} gave of data segments {n} and {n+1} for positive electrode diffusivity in (de-)lithiation direction. JSON (application/json) Post-processing of convergence and analysis of posterior predictive distribution. lg_mj1_parameterize_positive_diffusivity_{de}lithiation_[({n},{n}+2)]_{model}()_parameterization.json Structured dump of results and inner state of EP-BOLFI at the end of the optimization routine of data segments {n} and {n+1} and of {model} from SPM, SPMe, or DFN, for positive electrode diffusivity in (de-)lithiation direction. JSON (application/json) Programmatically retrieve mean results, errorbars, and correlation or covariance. May be used to re-initialize an EP-BOLFI instance with the final state for further refinement optimization. lg_mj1_parameterize_positive_diffusivity_{de}lithiation_optimizer_input_[({n},{n}+2)]_{model}()_plot.pdf Plot showing the data of data segments {n} and {n+1} and the simulation of the mean of the posterior parameter distribution of {model} from SPM, SPMe, or DFN, for positive electrode diffusivity in (de-)lithiation direction and the extent of variation of the model within posterior variance and without inherent parameter uncertainty. PDF (application/pdf) Visual verification that the posterior parameter distribution is a sensible parameterization. lg_mj1_parameterize_positive_diffusivity_{de}lithiation_optimizer_input_[({n},{n}+2)]_{model}()_voltage_components.pdf A component analysis of the mean posterior parameter distribution simulation of {model} from SPM, SPMe, or DFN, for positive electrode diffusivity in (de-)lithiation direction. PDF (application/pdf) Visual analysis of the relative magnitude of various battery phenomena, and if the desired one has the expected effect. Continues INR18650-LG-3500-MJ1 Cathode GITT Parameterization This record contains workflows to parameterize with EP-BOLFI a GITT (without intermittent EIS) measurement. IsContinuedBy INR18650-LG-3500-MJ1 Cathode GITT Parameter Collection This record contains workflows to collect the parameterizations on individual SOC points with EP-BOLFI of a GITT without intermittent EIS) measurement on the harvested positive electrode (cathode) of an INR18650-MJ1 Li-ion cell from LG CHEM. The result is a reasonable fitting spline for each estimated parameter as a function of SOC.
