Abstract

ENTECH Magazine May 2025 Issue: A STEM Resource for Students The May 2025 issue of ENTECH Magazine is now available! This issue is packed with exciting articles, fun puzzles, and career insights. Specifically, it is designed for students in grades 8 to 12. In fact, the content aims to inspire curiosity and passion for STEM. Indeed, this month’s issue includes a variety of topics. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are all covered. Certainly, each section offers something unique and engaging. Science Focus Articles To start, the Science Focus section features two articles. Firstly, “Beyond Earth: Why Space Logistics is the Future Frontier for Young Explorers” by Tariq Ahmed. It explains why space logistics is important for the future. Secondly, the article “Quantum Interactions: Tale of Colors in Fruits and Vegetables” by Dr. K. M. Udayanandan and Dr. Arvind Gopal Kulkarni, explores how quantum science explains colors in nature. Another fascinating article is “Gut-Brain Axis: Can Microbes Influence Neuroplasticity and Neural Circuits” by Nida E. Falak. It explores how gut microbes may affect brain health. Technology and Future Focus Next, the Technology Focus section includes “Tokenization in Financial Transactions” by Narendra Deshmukh. This article explains how tokenization improves digital payment security. In addition, Amit Singh’s “Internet Layers: Connecting the World” simplifies how the internet works. It explains the layers that make global communication possible. Interactive Quizzes and Puzzles For students who enjoy challenges, this issue includes fun activities. Neha Adikane’s “SciQ - Can You Crack It?” is a science quiz that tests your knowledge. Additionally, Samruddhi Bhabad’s “Math Playground - Binary Numbers and Bitwise Magic: A Fun Guide” introduces binary math through puzzles. Science Paradox and Wonders in Science The Science Paradox section features “The Science of Eternal Flame Falls and its Endless Flame” by Neha Adikane. It explains the science behind this natural wonder.In the Wonders in Science section, Neha Adikane also writes “The Science Behind Biology of Aging”. This article explains how aging works at the biological level. Career Focus and Engineering Insights The Career Focus section highlights exciting career paths. Samruddhi Bhabad’s “Coolest Tech Jobs You’ve Never Heard Of: Tech Bioinformatician” introduces a career that combines biology and technology. Meanwhile, Dr. Charudatta Pathak’s “How Bulletproof Glass is Made for Maximum Protection” explains the science behind this life-saving material.
