O que se pretende com este livro Geografia do Amazonas, no âmbito do Ensino Médio, é que ele contemple as várias matrizes do pensamento geográfico, as quais abordam o espaço sob diferentes óticas – em especial das relações do homem no espaço geográfico Amazônico, com o intuito de formar cidadãos críticos, capazes de compreender a realidade que o envolve, construindo-se um raciocínio geográfico regional. The aim of this book Geography of the Amazon, within the scope of High School, is that it contemplates the various matrices of geographical thought, which approach space from different perspectives – especially the relationships of man in the Amazonian geographical space, with the aim of forming critical citizens, capable of understanding the reality that surrounds them, constructing a regional geographical reasoning.
