Transformación educativa en la era digital: integrando la Educación para el Desarrollo Sostenible en un mundo conectado

Abstract

El estudio analiza la convergencia entre la transformación digital educativa y laEducación para el Desarrollo Sostenible (EDS) en el contexto ecuatoriano. Ante losdesafíos estructurales y sociales, se evalúan iniciativas como la Agenda Educativa Digital2021-2025 y su influencia en la formación de ciudadanos digitalmente competentes ycomprometidos con la sostenibilidad. Se emplea un enfoque cualitativo-descriptivobasado en revisión documental de políticas educativas, informes institucionales y literatura científica. El análisis se complementa con datos estadísticos sobreinfraestructura, acceso tecnológico y formación docente, permitiendo una comprensiónintegral de las estrategias de integración digital y sostenibilidad en bachillerato. Seidentifican avances en capacitación docente, incorporación de tecnologías como IA yrealidad aumentada, y adaptación curricular para alfabetización digital y sostenibilidad.Persisten desafíos relacionados con la infraestructura en zonas rurales, brecha digital yequidad en el acceso a recursos. Programas como “Apadrina una Escuela” buscan mitigarestas desigualdades. La EDS fomenta el abordaje de problemas ambientales localesmediante enfoques interdisciplinarios y aprendizaje basado en proyectos. La integraciónde tecnologías digitales y EDS tiene un potencial transformador en la educaciónecuatoriana, pero requiere una estrategia multifacética centrada en la equidad, laformación continua y la participación comunitaria. La sostenibilidad de estas reformasdepende de inversiones constantes, alianzas multisectoriales y sistemas de evaluacióneficaces.
