Uso de la inteligencia artificial en la eficientizacion de procesos y mejora de servicios de las bibliotecas: oportunidades y retos

Abstract

La inteligencia artificial (IA) es una gran herramienta que puede ser utilizada para mejorar la eficiencia y la experiencia de los usuarios de las bibliotecas. En el presente documento se hace una revisión general sobre algunos de los principales procesos y servicios de las bibliotecas, propuestas en que la IA puede mejorarlos fomentando una orientación al usuario, se señalan algunos retos por afrontar y consideraciones a tener en cuenta para lograr que los servicios sean más rápidos, personalizados y accesibles. Finalmente, se sugieren algunos casos concretos en los que la IA generativa puede impactar de manera contundente en cumplir los objetivos de facilitar el acceso a la información y a los recursos culturales, científicos y técnicos que resguardan.
