</script>Wide-Field Calcium Imaging in Freely Exploring Mice Dataset Description This zipped file contains 1 dataset collected during behavioral experiments in which mice explored a rectangular chamber measuring 27 × 15 cm.Raw fluorescence image stacks were recorded from three mice (S09, S10, and S11), with each recording saved in NumPy binary format (.npy). The images have been spatially registered, with the anatomical landmarks bregma and lambda located at coordinates (100, 75) and (100, 145), respectively. To enhance signal clarity, pixels outside regions of neural activity have been masked and assigned a gray value of 0. Each pixel represents an area of 60 microns, and the sequences were recorded at a frame rate of 25 Hz. These datasets are intended for use in studies involving neural imaging, signal processing, and behavioral analysis during naturalistic exploration. Additionally, a CSV file is included, containing the tracked coordinates of the animal's centroid throughout the experiment. The x and y columns represent the spatial position of the centroid, while the fluo_frame column corresponds to the associated frame in the calcium imaging data. The time column provides the timestamp in seconds, where time zero marks the onset of blue light illumination for GCaMP signal excitation. Pixel resolution is 0.44 mm.
