
This dataset contains the data used in the publication "Overwinter and spring thaw nitrous oxide fluxes in a northern Prairie cropland are limited but a significant proportion of annual emissions" in JGR: Biogeosciences. This study presented daily N2O fluxes and soil N2O content during freeze-thaw conditions using high precision lysimeters over a two year study in Ontario, Canada. The files contain the daily average N2O emissions, NO3- concentrations at 5 & 90 cm depth, the soil N2O content (gaseous, dissolved and total) for the soil profile (0-140 cm depth), and the supporting environmental data.
