Abstract

This dataset compiles the heart rate and body temperature as reported by a FitBit Charge 5 device (Firmware version 57.20001.194.91) of the author and data subject hexylena during the defense of her phd thesis. Several intervals are provided: sleep, cycling to the station, and a set of Netherlands-specific defense aspects such as the Zweetkamer ("sweat room", named because you're sweating in anxiety), the Lekenpraatje, and the interrogation. The times for the end of the lekenpraatje and questioning are approximate, per the authors' memory (somewhat reliable.) These have been plotted into two graphs (hr.png and temp.png) but the datasets are provided such that you can do your own investigation. If you use this dataset for an investigation or produce a nice plot, please inform me. I have also attempted to provide these as an ISA Tab formatted study, via ARCitect but this proved exceedingly difficult. It is not exported as an RO-Crate as my partner who is involved in ARCitect shares that it's primarily done through the CI service which would have required an excessive amount of energy investiture, even by my standards.
