Geothermal energy offers a sustainable solution for heating and cooling (H&C) throughout Europe. To ensure successful integration, it is crucial to have comprehensive and harmonized geoscientific datasets. The SAPHEA project team has been actively reviewing, collecting, and disseminating these datasets to assist stakeholders with strategic planning and investment decisions. The following dataset represents a state-of-the-art overview (as of 2025) of selected pan-European geospatial data sources relevant to geothermal energy applications. All cited datasets are freely available, accessible, and can be downloaded via the URLs provided in the table.
