Data for manuscript "Pacific and Atlantic Modes of Overturning in the Miocene Climatic Optimum"

Abstract

Dataset accompanying the manuscript:David K. Hutchinson, Katrin J. Meissner, Laurie Menviel, Nicky M. Wright, James Berg and R. Paul Acosta, Pacific and Atlantic Modes of Overturning in the Miocene Climatic Optimum, Submitted to Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology, Under Review, 2025.The dataset contains the folders:output.tar : Contains all output data presented in the manuscriptctl_dirs.tar.gz : Contains control directories for running each experiment using "payu" on the National Computational Infrastructure, Australia.input.tar.gz : Contains all input folders for running the modelrestart.tar : Contains all restart folders for running the model Data are in self-describing netcdf format. In the output.tar folder, experiment names are the same as in the manuscript. In the other folders, (ctl_dirs, input and restart), the experiment names correspond to the manuscript according to the following:a15_c1 := B21_1xa15_c2 := B21_2xa15_c3 := B21_3xa15_strm_c1 := S20_1xa15_strm_c3 := S20_3xa15_strm_c1_sal := S20_1x_Sala15_strm_c3_sal := S20_3x_Sal
