D2.1 - Portugal Service, Dissemination, Education and Training Plan

Abstract

The OurHealth@PT – Expansion of the Cross-border services in Portugal and implementation of the Laboratory Results service is an action co-funded by European Union’s EU4Health programme that will further support Portugal’s objectives to enhance and improve its national cross-border services, with the aim of providing national and European Union (EU) citizens with the opportunity to make full use of MyHealth@EU services and progress towards a wider range of services offered. To ensure the dissemination and enhancement of the cross-border services, the Work Package (WP) 2 – Dissemination, Training and Support – is responsible for raising awareness and demand among the citizens and health professionals regarding the provision of cross-border eHealth services, orchestrating educational and training initiatives to empower and support end-users.In order to accomplish these goals, Deliverable (D) 2.1 – Portugal service, dissemination, education and training plan – provides a detailed communication, dissemination and training plan designed to ensure the implementation and execution of specific initiatives aimed at different target groups, including citizens, health professionals, healthcare service provider organizations, MyHealth@EU teams, and National and Regional Competent Authorities, with the aim of addressing their specific needs and interests. This deliverable defines the brand strategy for the OurHealth@PT project, aligning it with national and European initiatives related to MyHealth@EU, while also taking into account EU co-funding rules. It outlines the vision, mission and value that OurHealth@PT team should uphold, as well its visual identify and templates to enhance brand recognition.Based on the identified target groups and brand strategy, a specific plan for communication and dissemination, and training activities is outlined. This plan includes key principles and activities to be implemented throughout the project, along with the channels, tools, and branding strategy necessary to ensure consistent and efficient messaging. The overall aim is to promote awareness, foster adoption of MyHealth@EU, and encourage the effective use of its services. All activities under WP2 responsibility will follow a monitoring and evaluation procedure, with specific metrics defined for collection during the execution of OurHealth@PT. A proposed timeline for implementing and monitoring these activities is provided, along with an assessment of potential risks and corresponding mitigation actions. This ensures precise and effective planning throughout the project, creating a feedback loop to continuously improve the first plan.
