Type locality. Winter Quarters, McMurdo Sound (Ross Sea), 23 m depth. Bathymetric distribution. 5–507 m. Substrate. Soft bottom. Geographical distribution. ANTARCTICA: Circum-Antarctic. SUBANTARCTICA: -. SCOTIA ARC: South Georgia, South Shetland Islands. SOUTH AMERICA: -. Remarks. In both Fildes Strait and Ardley Cove, the species was very common in depths between 35 and 100 m.
