Email: ancuervo@gmail.com Appendix 1-3. Appendix 1. Localities dataset for Glossophaga valens along its distribution ordered latitudinally. Voucher numbers refer to the following institutions: Museo de Historia Natural de San Marcos (MUSM); Genetic Resources Collection at the Natural Science Research Laboratory, Museum of Texas Tech University (TK); National Museum of Natural History (USNM); American Museum of Natural History (AMNH); Museo de la Escuela Politécnica Nacional (MEPN); and Museo de Zoología de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (QCAZ). Appendix 2: Specimens of Glossophaga soricina and Glossophaga bakeri used for comparisons. Museo de Historia Natural de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (MUSM) Appendix 3: Model evaluation details. The selection of the best model was made using a) AUCdiff, b) AUCavg, and c) AICc. Evaluation process was performed using ENMeval package (Muscarella et al. 2014). Features class combinations include linear (L), product (P), quadratic (Q), hinge (H). Regularisation multiplier values are denoted as (rm) in the x-axis
