Abstract

Tip of the tongue: The phenomenon of failing to recall something from memory, combined with partial recall and the feeling that recall is imminent This dataset contains the corpus and the queries for the 2025 Tip-of-the-tongue (ToT) shared task hosted at TREC. The 2025 ToT track has a larger corpus compared to the previous editions to account for the open domain setting. The corpus can also be accessed via Hugging Face Datasets and IR-Dataset.
